    The captain is a 40 year old female from the Earth. Both of her parents were  scientists, her father an Astrophysicist and her mother a mathmatician. She has a  boyfriend named Mark Johnson and a dog named Bear. She is dedicated, strong  willed, competent and professional, which makes her a great captain. She served under Tom Paris' father many years ago on the Al-Batani.
