The Doctor is the new Starfleet Emergency Medical Holographic program. The Doctor was developed at Jupiter Station by Dr. Lewis Zimmerman. He has over 2000 reference and experience from 47 different medical officers. He is also adaptive so you can add new information to his memory. Up until recently he could only be seen in place that had a holographic emitter but he now has a portable emitter that he attaches to his uniform so that he can make "house calls".
